Football · Futsal · Team OrdersVANTAGE MAX makes non-slip grip socks for football and futsal, held in stock in Singapore and shipped locally in 2–4 working days. Every pair is S$30 (list price S$34), and team pricing starts at S$22 a pair from 20 pairs. They are knitted in South Korea with a full-sole silicone Hexa-Grip pattern and a taping-style compression band through the arch and ankle, designed by a physiotherapist with over 20 years of clinical practice.
Standard team-issue football socks give no traction inside the boot. At speed, the foot slides on every cut, stop and pivot — you lose part of the force you are putting into the ground, and the friction raises blisters. Grip socks fix that by creating friction between the foot and the insole.
The practice is now routine at professional level, which is why you see players cut the foot off their official team socks and pull them over a grip sock underneath: kit regulations require the club sock to be visible, so the grip sock goes on first and the cut team sock goes over the top. Trusox and Tapedesign built the category; VANTAGE adds a compression band through the arch and ankle and a fabric chosen for tropical humidity rather than European winters.

| Size | Foot length | US | UK | EU |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| S | 215–240 mm | US 4–6 | UK 4–6 | EU 35–38 |
| M | 245–270 mm | US 7–9 | UK 7–9 | EU 39–42 |
| L | 275–300 mm | US 10–12 | UK 10–12 | EU 43–46 |
A 260 mm foot takes size M. Compression socks feel noticeably tight on first wear and settle after a few wears — size up only if you are between sizes and prefer a looser fit.
Kit rules require the official club sock to be worn and visible. Players cut the foot section off, put a grip sock on first, then pull the cut team sock over the top — so they get grip inside the boot while still meeting kit requirements.
They remove foot movement inside the boot. Less slide means more of your push reaches the ground on cuts and accelerations, and far less friction, which is what raises blisters over 90 minutes.
Yes — that is the normal way to wear them. Crew length sits below the calf, so a cut team sock pulls over cleanly.
